Alternative Therapy
Dr. Rubin embraces many different treatment modalities in his approach to chronic pain. Our patients have access to on site physical therapy and rehabilitation services. In addition, Dr. Rubin provides access to acupuncture therapy and non invasive laser therapy for nerve, muscle and joint pain.
Dr. Rubin possesses one of the only Class IV lasers for the treatment of pain. He has used it extensively for the treatment of neuropathic pain and has ongoing trials at Weill Cornell Medical College for the treatment of post-thoracotomy pain after lung surgery.
